Pagtanom para sa Kagabsan: Tree Planting Activity by Bank of San Jose in Bombon

In line with its commitment to environmental sustainability and community development, the Bank of San Jose successfully conducted a tree planting activity on May 3, 2025, in Siembre, Bombon, Camarines Sur.

The initiative gathered employees, local volunteers, and community leaders with a shared goal of contributing to reforestation efforts and promoting ecological awareness. Over 50 native and fruit-bearing tree saplings were planted in a designated area in the barangay, helping to restore greenery and protect the area’s natural resources.

This effort is part of the bank’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program focused on climate action, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable development. Bank representatives emphasized the importance of preserving the environment not just for the present generation but for the future as well.

“We believe that even small actions like planting trees can make a significant impact in the long run,” said Mr.Tim James L. Monasterio, COO and Vice President of Bank of San Jose. “Our bank is proud to support projects that build stronger communities and a healthier planet.”

The Bank of San Jose extends its gratitude to all participants, the Barangay Official unit of Bombon, and partner organizations who helped make the event a success.
