BANK HISTORY

Rural Bank of San Jose (C.S.) Inc. is a rural bank located strategically at distinct/prominent provinces in Camarines Sur and servicing its nearby towns.

On January 24, 1974, the Central Bank of the Philippines authorized the establishment of the RURAL BANK OF SAN JOSE (C.S.) INC. with the principal place of business at San Jose, Camarines Sur and it’s Articles of Incorporation and By-laws were registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

On April 05, 1974, the RURAL BANK OF SAN JOSE (C.S.) INC. formally opened its door to the public.

Over the years, RBSJ evolved from a simple rural bank with one (1) branch (Head office), adding services over time to currently having four (4) more branches. The Naga branch was established in 1998, Lagonoy Branch in 2012, Calabanga  in  2019 and Goa Branch lite in 2021. This is to further extend its financial service to more clients and unbanked communities through enhancing their financial literacy and capacity to help them achieve financial independence and with the end goal of accelerating development in the countryside.

Our Mission is to bridge our clients, primarily the agricultural farmers, livestock raisers, the small and medium entrepreneurs and salaried personnel to financial success and independence by providing them access to different relevant value added financial products and services.
